What is Health?
Our experience in the health sector started in 2005 and it allowed us to define a very clear strategy and a precise action plan that guarantee success and efficiency both in public and private healthcare.
Planning, organization and control of healthcare systems is essential and is based on adequate information management. Controlling growing costs and optimizing procedures such as resource assignment are some of the challenges that are impossible to face without the help of technological support and the aid in decision making.
Some of the areas that need managing are those related to the prevention, diagnosing, treatment and monitoring the patient. This control requires an infrastructure that is based on some fundamental pillars such as:
NONE OF THIS WOULD FUNCTION WITHOUT ADEQUATE INTEGRATION BETWEEN DIFFERENT ELEMENTS
Health and Business Intelligence
Standardized, flexible and sustainable dashboards for healthcare centers
1 Standardized dashboards
As a result of all the experience in implementation in both public and private healthcare centers, our dashboards comply with information and analysis standards in any section or department of a healthcare organization.
2 Flexible development
Its intelligent design allows for effortless modification both in data source and in viewing elements without having to rebuild the entire model. This guarantees over time a flexible, profitable and sustainable application and evolution.
3 Heterogeneous sources integration
It makes it easy to manage heterogeneous aggregated data coming from different centers, different HIS tools and different information sources. This feature allows for benchmarking between different centers, sections and activities.
Thanks to Business Intelligence we can to go deeper inside the organization and reach patient level while being able to create a link with other knowledge tools such as Patient’s Clinical History so that we can rapidly make decisions that are best for the patient’s needs and make the best use of available resources. This means an enormous improvement in saving time while providing services for the patient as it avoids time loss, delays, and poor use of resources.
Tailored or aggregated data analysis lets you take decisions for the future that equally allow you to enhance quality and make the best use of resources in the future.
Electronic Health Record
This tool is essential for any medical professional to do his work and provide patients with the best care possible.
Advantages with respect to paper health record
IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE SYSTEM OF CHECKING AND ACCESSING INFORMATION
PROCESSING AND RECORDING DATA
COMPLYING WITH INFORMATION SAFETY, CONFIDENTIALITY AND CONTROL REGULATIONS
ONE-TO-ONE CORRESPONDENCE WITH ANALYSIS, REPORTING AND DECISION MAKING TOOLS
HETEROGENEOUS DATA INTEGRATION FOCUSED ON THE INTEROPERABILITY BETWEEN SYSTEMS
INTEGRATION WITH ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION, CONNECTIVITY AND SOCIAL ENVIRONMENTS SYSTEMS
Health and interoperability. Heterogeneous data integration
Different areas and fields that are integrated in an adequate healthcare management force you to establish a series of semantical and technological standards (HL7, DICOM, CDA) that make it possible to exchange information between different tools in order to understand this data and give it meaning and use.
In these terms, Health resolves different types of problematics enabling easy integration of different sources of heterogeneous data in one single tool. The tool enables as well the establishment of business rules and working procedures and working level regulation of different stakeholders. Health greatly supports work with the three basic aspects of interoperability: Technical, semantical and process. Linked to this situation is the necessity to provide safety for said information.
Health helps resolve aspects related to the availability, classification and access control to said information and helps bring that information to the citizens if so is required.
HL7
Health offers the possibility to work with heterogeneous data sources and is capable of immediately providing mobility and access to the required information; it lets you get the necessary information in the right place and time, enabling adoption of standards such as HL7 and said information.
Information sharing
The goal of the standards is to share information between different stakeholders of the process. Health lets you share the users’ sessions with external stakeholders thanks to a simple email, which is how both sides get to share the same information, in real time from any location.
CDAs
Requirements imposed by the structure of clinical documents often force you to change methods for keeping information record in order to adapt to these specifications.
Again, Health’s flexibility allows you to create and adapt information and reports in a rapid and effective way, making it possible to rapidly start fulfilling new requirements and avoid slow-downs and delays on projects.
Health and Benchmarking
To be able to self-evaluate and compare ourselves to others helps us improve and pick the best practices. It helps us highlight weak spots and reinforce them in comparison with our equals.
Thanks to the union between Health and Benchmarking you’ll be able to evaluate products, services or procedures of different departments compared with each other within the same organization, center networks or even compare between public and private healthcare.
CMDB and GRD
In the hospital planning feature, the use of right data lets obtain information on the starting point and experienced evolution in a given situation in time so as to enable to develop forecasts and adequately determine goals.
Again it becomes essential to work with aggregated and quality data, coming from different sources such as data base on the population, illness, resources and activity records (CMDBs) in order to integrate them into dashboards that allow the adequate decision making in terms of future resource and task assignation. Therefore, it is necessary that the analysis tools allow information and classification integration according to analysis needs (GRDs).
Health allows the introduction of information boxes that enable data aggregation, simple integration of different sources and subsequent detailed analysis of all gathered information according to the user’s needs and without the need for constant change in the reports, which leads to optimization of check-up and analysis time and work unload within the departments in charge of those tasks.
The tool’s flexibility allows for the implementation of current CMDBs and GRDs and for its future modification so that it adapts to standards on a higher territorial or functional scale.
