When we took charge of Frutas Urkola 3 years ago we knew that by supporting quality (a legal requirement), many doors would open in new markets in the hotel and catering sector. The challenge was an important one: how to achieve an efficient and profitable registration of expiry dates and product traceability? Time has shown that we were able to meet up to the challenge.

We needed help in order to continue to work at the level that is required when handling fruit, complying with quality standards but without increasing manpower. The use of Wi-Fi technologies integrated into our management system has resulted in our challenge becoming a reality and we have achieved a 50% improvement. Traceability is guaranteed and our knowledge of the stock is exact, thanks to the real time registration of all processes and movements that are carried out.
